The Hallie Ford Museum Of Art At 25: Highlights From The Permanent Collection
Hallie Ford Museum of Art, Salem, OR - Joseph Gallivan
Over the past 25 years, the Hallie Ford Museum, which is part of Willamette University in Salem, has grown its holdings by artists of the Pacific Northwest. This deep dive into the collection by guest scholars shows how the museum has stayed up to date with art world trends. One bonus came when the university recently absorbed the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland, many of whose treasures are on display here. Director John Olbrantz gives a free lecture on the museum’s history Nov 9, 7:30 pm, in the Paulus Lecture Hall.
