Noah Alexander Isaac Stein: The Wild Dark

Noah Stein’s semi-abstract oil paintings ask how darkness can be integrated into modern life. Political and environmental discord becomes the catalyst for transcendence. The self-taught artist also makes large-scale light installations. Stein is “exploring the intersection of spiritual understanding with the undercurrents of an increasingly turbulent present,” and his recent work has taken a turn from internal to external discord. Aiming for synthesis, writes Blackfish, Stein’s works “are intended to guide viewers towards their own encounters with ineffable oneness.” blackfish.com
