Russo Lee Gallery’s Juneteenth exhibition features five Black artists living in Oregon; it aims to be “a celebration of diversity and inclusivity through art, providing a platform for underrepresented voices to be heard.” Look for the catalog with an essay by Kiara Hill, an art history professor at Portland State University. This group show stars Portland’s high-profile young African American photographer Intisar Abioto and Ghanaian transplant and portraitist Otis Kwame Kye Quaicoe. Other regular Russo Lee artists are Julian V.L. Gaines, Lisa Jarrett and Samantha Wall.
