Kathryn Bilharz Gabriel: Submerged

For her West Coast debut, New York State–based artist Kathryn Bilharz Gabriel brings a variety of works on paper and multimedia constructions to N.85, which honors “the craftsmanship at the heart of fine printmaking.” With a scientific background as well as an MFA, Gabriel navigates the intersections of organic and mechanical systems and the cultural tensions around identity and aesthetics.
