Expression of Structure: Chris Chandler

The former sound engineer for the Flaming Lips, Chris Chandler now runs his own Neu Haus Press. His deconstructed/reconstructed works often resemble blown-up letters and parts of type, abstracted to the point of mesmerization. These giant, geometric monotype relief prints are inspired by the Bauhaus School, Constructivism and typography pioneers such as Jan Tschichold.
