Described as a “focused survey,” this exhibition showcases work from four decades in the career of acclaimed Saskatchewan Métis artist Edward Poitras. The creator of powerful and provocative art across many media, engaged with issues ranging from the political to the spiritual, Poitras has conceived the Esplanade show as one of a series of four “art actions” playing across four different venues, including the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Swift Current, and Godfrey Dean Art Gallery
