Filled with both realistic and abstract representations of domestic architecture, this group exhibition asks us to consider the deeper meanings of the built spaces we daily inhabit. Speaking through different mediums and cultural perspectives, the art- ists here investigate the experiential and symbolic significance of style, ornament, design, pattern and structure. As the show’s curator Rhys Edwards tells us, the built world may be seen “as a realm of imaginative dreaming, or as the staging-ground for relations between society, culture, and the environment...”
