Eric Stotik: New Works
Russo Lee Gallery, Portland, OR - Feb 2 - 25
Eric Stotik’s wonderfully dark vision returns, with war scenes, strange animals and hostile landscapes. Stotik grew up in a Lutheran missionary family between Papua New Guinea and Melbourne, Australia. He then studied art at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in the 1980s. He has exhibited his work across the States, and it is featured in a dozen public collections. Artforum has compared him to the Mexican muralist José Clemente Orozco, Max Ernst and Hieronymous Bosch.
