Melanie Stevens: Rest and Relief

This solo exhibition of prints by Melanie Stevens explores “moments of solitude, peace, and stillness as acts of resilience and protection.” Images include the classic solitary chair on a wooden dock beside a river. Stevens created the graphic novel series WaterShed and founded black whole Press, a printmaking studio for marginalized communities. Here she explores her quieter side, creating stunning imagery in the process.
