Photographer Dinh Q. Lê is best known for his woven photos, wherein he cuts up two contrasting photos and weaves them together so one image looms out from another. Lê’s greatest subject was Vietnam, from which his family fled when he was a child and to which he returned as an adult. Lê, who died in 2024, was long championed by his local dealer Elizabeth Leach. Here we can see many of his different photo styles and even some sculpture.
