To Nov 28 Tamires Para: Corpo Bruto explores the relationship between body and psyche. Gary McMillan: Galapagos. Journey into a fictional land inhabited by a multitude of mysterious humanoid figures.

Dec 4-12 Yielding to Form: 32nd Annual Harcourt House Members’ Exhibition + Art Sale. Showcases diverse and compelling approaches to the notion of “form” in contemporary visual culture. 2020 Art-O-Rama Art Sale Fundraiser. Provides a rare opportunity to acquire affordable, original, small-format works of art in a variety of media from well-known contemporary Canadian artists. Bowing to Figure: 29th Annual Naked Show + Art Sale. A broad range of conceptual and formalistic approaches to the aspect of human form from Harcourt’s Live Model Sessions.

Opening Jan 8 Kaja Levy de la Vie: Euthymia. A video installation that explores the theatrics of conveying emotion and the spectacle of sensitivity. Ritchie Velthuis: SCTV Monument–Journey of an Artist. A bronze sculpture of the iconic Bob and Doug McKenzie from Second City Television (SCTV).


Harcourt House Artist Run Centre is operated by Where Edmonton Community Artists Network (W.E.C.A.N.) Society – a not-for-profit, charitable organization –  in support of artistic endeavors that are essential to a healthy community. Since its inception in 1988, Harcourt House has established itself as an open, viewer-friendly forum for the best in Canadian and international contemporary visual/new media arts, architecture, design, and the institution dedicated to professional research, curatorial practices, and audience engagement. It carries out this mandate by providing art exhibitions and art education programs of the highest caliber, and affordable studio facilities to artists in support of the local arts community and Edmonton’s diverse audiences.
