Ongoing Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts Biennial features prints created by native and non-native artists at this important printmaking atelier on the Umatilla Reservation near Pendleton, Oregon over the past two years. Included in the exhibition are works by Marwin Begaye, James Lavadour, Wendy Red Star and Dyani White Hawk, among others. Opening Sep 27 Memories & Inspiration: The Kerry and C. Betty Davis Collection of African American Art. Organized and toured by International Arts & Artists in Washington, DC and featuring 62 works by some of the foremost African American artists of the 20th century, including Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Sam Gilliam, Jacob Lawrence, Samella Lewis and Charles White, among others.
