To Nov 5 Hester and Other Damaged Kids: Amitai Ben David. Haunting paintings based on a children’s book, published in Israel in the austere 1960s. To Feb 5 Back on Track: Curated by JP Stienne. From the copper mines of the Boundary District through to the coalfields of the Crowsnest, railways impacted social, political and economic life in the Kootenays. They created a vast transportation network that connected east to west, and also brought calamity. This exhibition explores both the vast opportunities and the detrimental practices that accompanied the expansion of the railways in the west.
