Tacoma Art Museum

Renowned as one of the most substantial and dynamic art museums in the Pacific Northwest, the museum consistently produces exhibitions highlighting the innovative creativity of Pacific Northwest artists. The collection comprises over 5,400 works, including: the largest retrospective museum collection of glass art by Tacoma native Dale Chihuly on continued view; the largest collection of studio art jewelry by Northwest artists; the Haub Family Collection of Western American Art: over 120 works from the Washington Art Consortium’s Safeco/Liberty Mutual Collection of Northwest art; key holdings in 19th-century European and 20th-century American art; one of the finest collections of Japanese woodblock prints on the West Coast; and the Benaroya Collection, featuring studio art glass, paintings and sculptures.
