To Feb 5 Richard Nash: Consonance presents works by Northwest artist Richard Nash showcasing a selection of large Corten steel, non-representational sculptures in conversation with his more intimate abstract paintings. Using formal composition elements, Nash generates a sense of movement, engagement, discovery and emotion. MoNA Collection: New Acquisitions presents new acquisitions reflecting MoNA’s effort to bring a more representative and diverse group of Northwest artists into its collection. Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls: Honoring Our Stolen Sisters draws from the experience of communities that have lost a loved one. The art varies–from painting to video to textiles–reflecting the strength, resilience, and determination of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls survivors and their families.
