Who’s Your Daddy? Inherited Topographies And Other Familiar Accumulations
Guest curated by MA candidate Maya Rodrigo-Abdi, this exhibition brings together an odd assortment of historical objects and images, chosen from the museum’s collections. Used car oil filters, a pair of old ski boots, fading Jell-O packets, a sculpture by Sally Michener, a woodcut by Bruno Bobak and a blueprint by B.C. Binning are among the artifacts exhibited alongside contemporary artworks by emerging North Shore artists Kiana Shahnia and Roselynn Sadaghiani. An uncertain community legacy is evoked.
