To Jul 5 Gateway to Himalayan Art features sublime religious art created from the 13th through the 21st centuries in Tibet, Nepal, China and Mongolia, drawn from the permanent collection of the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art, which organized the exhibition. Looking Back: Diane Arbus, 1956–1970. The works on view span the artist’s career, from early 35mm street photographs to the later square-format portraits that became her hallmark and include both personal projects and editorial assignments.
