To Dec 5 The New FORBIDDEN by sculptor Kevin Christison includes works with upcycled waste metal, plastic, glass and paper. This body of work investigates the ever-changing boundaries of what is deemed acceptable or allowed in society, and what is forbidden. Artworks address such topics as ethics, social acceptance, personal and communal boundaries, and management of natural resources. ANTIDOTE by M.J. Anderson is another concept of the human form. Her exhibit of glowing figurative and abstract sculptures in onyx and marble give strength to her message and offer images of beauty and resilience. M.J. speaks to how women feel, rather than how they look.
