Ongoing Through the Light: The Sublime in Contemporary in Northwest Art features six Northwest artists who all view nature through a unique lens tied to various elements found in our world: light, water, earth and energy. These artists provide viewers with an insight into the complexities of nature by creating small moments with personal interventions that inspire guests to consider their relationship with the surrounding environment in a different way. Aaron Loveitt, Succession: a Landscape Unfolding is a solo exhibition of work that elegantly embodies the deep history of the region’s forest, taking the visitor through deep time to explore our conceptual relationship with the environment through an installation of three large sculptures Revere, Reap, Recover.
