Sep 2-Oct 10 Orlando Almanza: I Wish You Were Here and Lis Pardoe: Here To Remind You. Two solo shows by two Portland painters working with personal narratives and finely rendered magical realism. Almanza is originally from Cuba, and Pardoe from Utah. Receptions: Sep 2, 5-7pm and First Thursdays Sep 3 & Oct 1, 5-8pm. Opening Oct 14 Laurie Danial: Beauty and the Long Walk Home. Danial seeks beauty, masters color and gesture in her abstract compositions. Daniel Robinson: Promised Land. Robinson, residing in the town of Fossil, celebrates the agricultural cathedrals and dramatic geography of Central Oregon’s farmland. Receptions: Nov 4, 5-7pm, First Thursday, Nov 5, 5-8pm.
