Founded in 1995, ArtX Contemporary is a gallery at the intersection of contemporary art and global culture. To Nov 15 Walks Along The Kamogawa: The Kyoto Series, Part 1. Contemporary sumi painter Alan Lau presents new paintings, large and small, depicting poetic, abstracted fragments of life from Lau’s yearly travels to Kyoto. Opening Dec 4 ArtX Contemporary Group Exhibition celebrating the gallery’s 30th anniversary. The work of over 40 local, national and international artists broadly explores the intersections between contemporary art, culture and community. As a whole, it presents the core themes, values and aesthetics that ArtX Contemporary champions, as a gallery that has promoted a global vision of art since their founding in 1995.
