Michelle Muldrow: The Roiling Sea

Michelle Muldrow can paint gritty exurbia, but she’s a dab hand at nature too. Her dramatic landscape paintings in casein (milk) paint contrast land and seascape imagery with man-made structures. Her dreamlike work explores the relationship between landscape and consumerism—and she’s a punkette! Muldrow was recently awarded an Individual Artist Fellowship Grant by the Oregon Arts Commission.
