Ongoing Eternal Forms: The Sculpture of Everett DuPen explores the life and work of master sculptor Everett DuPen (1912-2005), best known for his figurative pieces in terra cotta, stone, wood and bronze. Through his numerous public commissions and decades of mentoring future generations of Northwest sculptors, DuPen established himself as one of the most important artistic figures of his generation. R. Bruce Inverarity: Northwest Modernist. The first solo exhibition of early Seattle modernist R. Bruce Inverarity (1909-1999), presenting paintings, blockprints, photography and hand-crafted puppets circa 1920s-1940s. Influences: Japanese Prints on Early Northwest Art explores connections between Japanese prints and early 20th-century Northwest painting and printmaking. Works by Waldo Chase, Elizabeth Colborne, Hiroshige, Hokusai, Kōshirō Onchi and others.
