SIDE CORE: under city. The first North American exhibition of Japanese artist collective SIDE CORE. Known for site-specific projects that blur the boundaries between contemporary art, skate culture and urban infrastructure, the Tokyo-based collective presents a selection of video works and photographs that explore the often-overlooked spaces of the city. Opening Jul 25 Ongoing Pacific Crossings is the culmination of a seven–year cultural exchange between Tokyo’s Art Center Ongoing (ACO), Richmond Art Gallery, and guest curator Makiko Hara.
