Nov 9-Dec 12 Veczan & Poole: Intermission is a contemporary photographic interpretation of works by American painter Edward Hopper – a collaborative project between photographer Adrien Veczan and creative designer Hailey Poole, who both work in the film and television industries. This series of 13 large photographs were created using built sets and found locations, utilizing contemporary actors and models. Veczan & Poole’s achievement in this body of work is to maintain the quiet power and mystery of Hopper’s original paintings, while creating original photographic artworks that recontextualize the images for the contemporary viewer.
