Feb 7-21 Terry Fenton has been exploring landscape painting of the Prairies and West Coast for over 30 years. Having been an advocate and member of the Modernist movement, Fenton’s landscapes use non-conventional design choices to push the tradition of landscape painting. Opening Mar 14 Historic & Post-War Canadian Art. The gallery’s annual exhibition of works by leading artists of the 20th century. Features important works by members of the Group of Seven, E.J.Hughes, Jean-Paul Riopelle, W.J. Phillips, Emily Carr, Ray Mead, Gordon Smith, Takao Tanabe and many others.
