Sep 3-26 Edges of Unmaking. Daphne Minkoff explores the ways memory accumulates within the built environment. Her mixed-media paintings depict fading structures, aging storefronts, and abandoned automobiles, reflecting on place, transformation, and quiet histories. Reception: Sep 3, 6-8pm. Artist Talk: Sep 19, 2pm Oct 1-31 Pacific Northwest Artist Hart James channels elemental forces into bold abstractions. Her compositions evoke the movement of water, the whisper of air and the enduring weight of stone. Skagit Valley artist Gregg Laananen breathes life and color into the Pacific Northwest landscape with his visceral interpretations of water falls, forests and isolated elements of nature. Plants, flowers and flumes are rendered with visceral, textured paint application. Reception: Oct 1, 6-8pm.
