Federico Estol: Shine Heroes   

The premier photographic gallery in Portland welcomes Federico Estol, who was captivated by the 3,000 shoeshine kids on the streets of La Paz, the Bolivian capital, each day in search of clients. They wear ski masks to hide their identities so they can blend into society when they are off the clock. “The mask is their strongest identity, what makes them invisible while at the same time unites them,” says Estol.
