Anna Wong: Traveller On Two Roads
ANNA WONG: TRAVELLER ON TWO ROADS is the major publication accompanying the recent Burnaby Art Gallery exhibition. In tribute to the late Anna Wong (1930-2013), the show and book survey the career of this master printmaker, from her early studies of Chinese brush painting in Hong Kong to her embrace of a wide range of printmaking techniques while a student at the Vancouver School of Art, an instructor at the Pratt Institute in New York City and an avid traveller through China, her parents’ homeland. With essays by Ellen van Eijnsbergen, Jennifer Cane, Keith Wallace and Zoë Chan.
