To Jul 12 An Animated Assembly. Richard Ibghy and Marilou Lemmens presents new hand-painted murals, short animations and sculptural assemblages. These works invite us to take up contemporary economic and environmental challenges fearlessly, and to reimagine community to include myriad life forms. Curated by Sylvie Fortin. Opening Aug 1 Biophilia. A touring exhibition from Musée d’art de Joliette that asks what it means to be connected with the natural world as it rapidly changes around us. Through painting, sculpture, installation and video, the artists examine desires and contradictions surrounding human relationships with nature.
