Ongoing myself inside your story by Seattle-based, Lebanese American artist Mary Ann Peters, features paintings, drawings and sculptures that explore hidden histories of the Middle East. This is the first time that the full breadth and scale of Peters’ work, attuned to this critical topic, has been seen in such scope. Meander by Io Palmer, is a mixed-media installation that draws textural references from natural and artificial touchpoints to invite reflection about how we shape – and are shaped by – the spaces we inhabit. Opening Sep 6 Elaine Horn: Broadcasting from Bellingham celebrates the host of “Woman’s World,” which debuted on KVOS-TV in the 1960s. Imagery and ephemera trace Horn’s history on radio and TV.
