Feb 4-Mar 1 Palimpsests: Layered Surfaces is an invitational exhibition featuring James Alby, Paul Gadsden, Leonard Harmon, Yuji Hiratsuka, Marcel M. Johansen, Kanani Miyamoto and Kyra Watkins. Oregon-based artists use layered processes across media to explore heritage, identity, memory and belonging. Reception: Feb 5, 5-8pm. Artist talk: Feb 15, 11am. Mar 4-29 Beneath the Bark presents wooden vessels by Kevin Jesequel, highlighting the natural beauty of wood while exploring line as volume and the emotional resonance of the curve.
