To Oct 3 Opera Obscura: Mary Kavanagh examines the library and preservation or loss of knowledge through a large-scale installation comprised of nearly 2,000 deaccessioned, hand-inked books and accompanying photographs. To Oct 7 Sarah Steeves: Your Absence is Mineral is an installation of woven copper textiles and grown saline crystals, presenting an earth-centred perspective on grief and loss. Creatrix Rising: Archway Society for Domestic Peace Art Program reflects the strength and resilience of its participants through their use of a range of mediums. Opening Oct 16 Bound to Birth: Darian Goldin Stahl, Exposed! by VPAG members, and an exhibition by the Mackie Lake House Artist in Residence.
