To Apr 3 Our Songs, Our Roots (Music in St. Albert). Music is perhaps the deepest form of human communication, affecting us spiritually, culturally and socially. This exhibition looks back at the role of music in the St. Albert region and explores the many ways it has influenced and enhanced life in the community. Apr 3-Aug 21 The Bruin Inn: 70 Years of St. Albert’s Social Life. In the late 1800s the St. Albert Hotel had a prime spot next to the river. When it burned down in 1928, a brand new, modern “Bruin Inn” was built. This exhibition looks at the changes the hotel witnessed during its long life and its role as a popular gathering place for the region.
