MAIN EXHIBITION To Apr 4 St. Albert and the Northwest Resistance. Discover the role of St. Albert before, during and after the 1885 Northwest Resistance conflict, through stories and artifacts (such as a diary of Métis Leader Louis Riel). Opening Apr 14 The First Draft of History: Newspapers in St. Albert. St. Albert has been home to several newspapers throughout history, offering their own unique perspectives. Just as a newspaper is a mirror in the community, so are the people behind the news. In celebration of the 65th anniversary of the St. Albert Gazette, this exhibition looks at the various newspapers that have served the northern Alberta city and the people behind them.
