Day-to-Day: Rhythm, Routine, Resistance brings together contemporary artworks across media exploring how the ordinary and incidental become powerful sources for artistic inquiry, critical reflection and imagination. Joiri Minaya: To Hell With Hibiscus showcases the artist’s versatile language of textiles that critique the making of global Tropics–a fabricated realm for the “exotic” extending from the Caribbean to the Pacific.
