Ongoing Eric-Paul Riege: ojo|-|ólǫ. Recent and newly commissioned work by Diné artist Eric-Paul Riege (b. 1994, Na’nízhoozhí [Gallup, New Mexico]), including sculpture, textile, collage and video, activated by moments of performance. Every Picture Somewhat of an Experiment: Helen Frankenthaler traces the arc of Frankenthaler’s print career from early experiments to later technical innovations. Day-to-Day: Rhythm, Routine, Resistance brings together contemporary artworks across media exploring how the ordinary and incidental become powerful sources for artistic inquiry, critical reflection and imagination. Joiri Minaya: To Hell With Hibiscus showcases the artist’s versatile language of textiles that critique the making of global Tropics–a fabricated realm for the “exotic” extending from the Caribbean to the Pacific.
