Opening Apr 1 William Hogarth: Gone to the Dogs explores the work of William Hogarth, an English painter and engraver in the 1700’s whose engravings criticized English culture and satirized all social classes, religion and government. kisikayastew ᑭᓯᑲᔭᐢᑌᐤ moonlight features contemporary Indigenous art by Alex Janvier and Lana Whiskeyjack, exploring the nêhiyaw teachings of the Thirteen Sacred Moons. This exhibition is presented by the Poole Centre of Design and the Capital Power Indigenous Art Fund. Opening Apr 29 Uii Savage: Celestial Passage is augmented reality by Uii Savage that uses the AGA’s main hall as a simulated observation site for viewing North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) satellite data in real-time.
