After closing for smoke damage from a neighbor’s fire, Russo Lee reopens on First Thursday, Feb 6, billed as “a night of art, conversation, and community.” Roll Hardy’s oil paintings of industrial ruins—broken concrete, puddles, wild greenery—have an Old Portland vibe. He captures the rust and grime, but his earth tones show the beauty of leftover infrastructure and disused land. Also showing is new work by Fay Jones, whose comic, character-filled surrealism always delights.
