The Gage Academy of Art’s Atelier program was founded by artist Juliette Aristides, who directed the Aristides Atelier from 1999 to 2022. Unlike standard university and college course-based fine art degree programs, the Atelier’s online and SLU-based program takes a decidedly old school approach, designed for students pursuing mastery in drawing, painting or sculpture. Gage currently offers eight Ateliers, in a range of media, though the predominant works featured in this alumni show are in the Classical and Realist styles.
