2024 Fall Juried Exhibit

A standout of this fall’s Juried Exhibit in Whatcom County is Eelin Lee, a visually impaired emerging artist inspired by the natural landscape of the Pacific Northwest and those who live upon it. Lee’s vibrant acrylic paintings give primacy to each pictured element—water, stones, plants, trees, mountains, and eventually the sky. This passage carries within it subtle transitions in color, conveyed in a style that has her landscapes modulating from abstraction to realism to abstraction once more.
