Grow Show

Grow Show is the pendant publication of the Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery’s Heritage BC Award–winning exhibition The Grow Show of 2021. Comprised of testimonials, archival photos, poems, drawings and installation documentation, the book relates, with equal parts humour and sadness, the story of cannabis production in the post-logging Kootenay region. “We reached out to hundreds of people on both sides of the legal divide,” writes curator Arin Fay, “with the goal of telling a nuanced and inclusive story through the voices of people’s lived experiences…”
