ALL WE WANT IS MORE: THE TOBIAS WONG PROJECT is the catalogue to the recent Museum of Vancouver exhibition, showcasing the remarkable, witty and often subversive practice of the late designer, conceptualist, performance artist and provocateur. Born and raised in Vancouver and based in New York until his tragic death in 2010, Wong appropriated and reimagined high-profi le works of art and product design. Whether wrapping a diamond-studded watch in black leather or transforming a Philippe Starck chair into a lamp, he challenged our relationship to consumerism while dismantling notions of value and authorship.
