Tales From the Crypt

Though not a collecting institution, the Polygon has accumulated more than its share of stuff since the BC Photography and Media Arts Society opened the doors of Presentation House Gallery in 1983. The bulk of this stuff consists of photographs from past exhibitions and fundraisers, while other elements have no known provenance and have taken on a mysterious, otherworldly character. Led by assistant curator Serena Steel, in collaboration with registrar Alex Haythorne, this exhibition riffs on our human urge to hang onto things.
