Nov 5-28 BONEYARD. The imagery, inspiration and implication of bones as the underpinnings of everything is explored in this multimedia, collaborative exhibition, featuring artists Cynthia Ann Hibbard and David Traylor. Bone-In workshop: Nov 14, 12-3pm. Dec 3-31 Scott Coffey: The Past is Another Planet crafts a surreal world of narrative paintings where mundane life sits beside the incomprehensible. Sparked by the acquisition of a box of mysterious old family photos and artifacts, it incorporates collage, texture, and influences from sci-fi and horror fiction. Kim Wheaton: VIGNETTES FROM THE ROAD is a series of paintings capturing hours spent during road trips, snapping photos and never knowing exactly what was captured in them. The paintings blend photos, memory, and imagination. Artist talks: Dec 12.
