Plein Air Portland Art Show
Aug 4 – 26
The Oregon Society of Artists gallery is tucked away in a residential street just where downtown Portland becomes the a uent West Hills. The society is best known for its Rose Festival Art Show (June 22-24). Its plein-air show (featuring work done in the open air as opposed to in a studio) is always a great leveler, a chance to explore our local landscape through the minds and eyes of local painters. It offers a variety of art classes and serves as a focal point for member artists, most of whom paint in traditional 20th- and 19th-century styles.
