Elise Rasmussen: An Alpine Trilogy

This exhibition brings together three interconnected bodies of work rooted in alpine history, imagery and myth. Through research-driven, lens-based practices, Elise Rasmussen re-examines narratives of conquest, climate and nostalgia tied to the French and Swiss Alps. The works explore the symbolism of blue and early scientific attempts to measure the sky, historical climate disruption and its cultural echoes, and the Alps as sites of healing, escape and tourism.
