Chorus is a group show that aims to capture the power of voices operating in unison, showing figurative works by almost 30 female artists from the Miller Meigs Collection. According to the organizers, their collective voice “is tension and breath, rhythm and interruption. It swells and crescendos. Existing in chambers, chapels, temples, mosques, monasteries, colosseums, theaters, markets, protests, weddings, funerals, or any other singing at the ceremony…” Both the gallery and the collection aim to support women and other underrepresented artists.
