Join instructor Ann Willsie for a lively, expressive painting workshop at the Vernon Arts Summer School focused on capturing the beauty of live flowers. This class encourages a loose, confident approach to florals, emphasizing shape, colour relationships, and strong composition over detail.
Participants will explore how to simplify complex floral arrangements into bold shapes and values, while learning how to create balanced compositions and paint glass vases and backgrounds with clarity and intention. The focus is on developing a fresh, expressive painting style that feels spontaneous and alive.
