Gender Mutual Artist Talk

Join us at SUM gallery on February 21st at 1pm for a free Artist Talk featuring Jamie Lauder and Addison Finch of Gender Mutual, a group exhibition that explores the deeply personal and often nonlinear journeys of living beyond the gender binary.

Together Lauder and Finch discuss how their practices explore gender as lived, felt, and continually re-imagined, from Lauder’s curatorial vision and their own projection-based work, to Finch’s insights into his linocut prints rooted in leather/kink culture. This artist talk is a deep dive into the personal histories, creative processes, and community connections that inform SUM gallery's first exhibition of 2026, and a unique opportunity for visitors to engage directly with two of the artists shaping this powerful exhibition.
