John Yeon: Architecture

JOHN YEON: ARCHITECTURE was the second book released to accompany the Portland Art Museum exhibition Quest for Beauty: The Architecture, Landscapes, and Collections of John Yeon. Most widely remembered as an architect, John Yeon (1910-1994) brought an international spotlight to regional modernism in the Pacific Northwest with prominent designs like the 1937 Aubrey Watzek House. The handsome publication features essays by Museum of Modern Art architecture curator Barry Bergdoll, UC Berkeley scholar Marc Treib, architect John Cava, and Yeon Center director Randy Gragg.
