Ochres on Cloth with Caitlin ffrench

Explore the magic properties of ochre! Caitlin ffrench will teach you how to transform ochres (mineral pigments) into colour on cloth and threads. You will learn how to gather and process mineral pigments to paint onto cloth (and threads!) using soy milk as a binder. You will leave the workshop with a cotton square that you’ve painted. Suitable for ages 10 and up. All materials will be supplied.
